Tian Teng is a painter who lives and works between Utrecht and Shanghai. She holds a BA in Fine Art from HKU University of the Arts Utrecht (2021) and an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art, London (2025).
Tian Teng’s work explores the psychological space between memory, place, and identity. Using her personal photographic archive as a starting point, she transforms images into painterly frames that function as metaphorical windows onto layered personal and collective histories.
