The Koninklijke Vereniging van Vrienden der Aziatische Kunst (KVVAK), or Royal Asian Art Society in the Netherlands, was founded in 1918 to promote the appreciation and study of high-quality Asian art. Its esteemed collection is on long-term loan to the Rijksmuseum’s Asian Pavilion, and the society regularly organizes lectures, publications, and events to foster knowledge and dialogue on Asian art.
